A wearable piece of folk art. The Vilde MINI Jacket by Sissel Mini is a black cotton jacket covered in hand cut patchwork appliqué, with red, pink and cream elephants, birds and flowers spread across the front, back and sleeves. Every jacket is made by hand, so no two are exactly the same.
Handmade in India by village artisans from small leftover fabric pieces, with no machines involved. It has a small rounded collar, two front pockets and bone look buttons, with black cotton binding around every edge and a purple floral cotton lining that peeks out at the cuffs. Small differences between the front and back are part of the craft.
Throw it over a white tee and printed pants with red Mary Janes, or pair it with the Oda MINI Pants in Zoo for a bold, playful set. For school, jeans and sneakers let the jacket do all the talking.
