The Gaia MINI Dress by Sissel Mini mixes soft rose stripes in a relaxed, wide fit, with a deeper red striped yoke, big balloon sleeves edged in red zigzag tape and little appliqué motifs stitched across the front. It is joyful, easy to wear, and you notice something new every time you look at it.
Made from 100 percent leftover yarn dyed cotton, gathered just below the chest so the skirt falls loose and swingy. The balloon sleeves have elastic inside the openings, and a slim collar with a front slit and tie strings finishes the neckline. Like all of the brand's leftover fabric styles, it is limited edition.
Wear it on its own with sandals or Mary Janes in warm weather, then add white tights and a chunky cardigan in the fall. It also looks great over wide leg pants for a layered, artsy look.
