Hope & Henry was founded by husband and wife team Matthew and Marina McCauley, both veterans of the children's clothing industry (Matthew previously served as CEO of Gymboree).
After watching the 2015 documentary "The True Cost," which exposed the dark side of fast fashion, they came out of retirement with a mission: to prove that beautiful, high quality organic clothing can be affordable without sacrificing the wellbeing of people or the planet.
The majority of their garments are made with GOTS certified organic cotton, free from the pesticides and insecticides that account for 25% of the world's total insecticide use. What makes Hope & Henry truly special is their profit sharing model; they share profits with the women and men who sew their clothes.
